Who do Birthways Doulas support?
We support families who are parenting through pregnancy, adoption and surrogacy, LGBTQ+ families, single parents, partnered parents, first time parents, and growing families.
We care for families who need support during pregnancy and birth, and beyond. Our services are designed to meet the needs of families whose needs arise or continue well beyond the early days and weeks and into the first year.
We care for families needing sibling care and support, families with healthy newborns and medically fragile infants, babies born prematurely and parents who may be experiencing mood disorders.
Our mission is to provide sensitive and informed assistance through the unexpected, empowering, informing and supporting all families, with mindful awareness.
Our DEIB framework works to ensure that doula care is available to all families, and that culturally aligned care relationships are prioritized.
